Blogging is Hard

Good Lord! 

People who think blogging and vlogging and Instagram influencing is easy, could not be more wrong. Grant it, I have a corporate job plus a second job on the side side but woah I need to start writing more. Why didn't yinz tell me? (Ms. Wall if you're reading this, pardon my grammar. I graduated from a top journalism school I swear!) Clearly travel is one of the most important things in my life, so if I want this little blog to have any chance at success, I have to write something here and there. 

Since I last wrote, we went through an entire pandemic that literally stopped the world and we're just now sorta kinda getting back together. I also moved across the country from Pittsburgh to Denver. I'm so happy to be accomplishing a goal of living and exploring this beautiful part of the country. Out west is so different from what I'm used to in the Northeast. It's been a breath of fresh air...literally. I like to think that's one of the reasons as to why the west was won. 

This pandemic taught me so much about myself - yes, I know that's cliche but it's true. Of course things like family, friends, and health were all put into perspective during this crazy pandemic. However, traveling will always be a priority for me that when it was taken away, I had a hard time grasping that. Going to new places has always been a means of an escape. During the heat of the pandemic, I truly felt trapped on the planet. Sounds dramatic, I know. 

That being said, I still have done my fair share of traveling and exploring plus planning some future trips that I can't wait to share! 

Even though no ones probably cares that much, I promise to write more often.
